Why Korevion
How Korevion supports antioxidant defenses in animals
Most antioxidants focus on one molecule or one class of compounds. Korevion is the olive-pulp totum, physically processed with nothing extracted, so its 40+ molecules, including phenolics and triterpenes, stay together and complement each other.
MAIN BENEFIT
RESILIENCE UNDER OXIDATIVE STRESS
Supports the animal's own antioxidant defenses when production,
environmental or nutritional stress raises oxidative pressure, helping
protect cells and lipids from oxidative damage.
Vitamin E strategies
A complementary way to optimize vitamin E use and buffer price and supply swings through the year. In one broiler trial, performance was
maintained with 50% less supplemental vitamin E, with extra benefits for tissue antioxidant status and meat quality.
Meat quality
Protection that can carry through to the final product. In broiler research, breast myopathy severity was reduced.
The science behind Korevion
FROM OLIVE TO ANIMAL
Evidence of what the whole totum does biologically.
Olive
Analytical characterization of the Koroneiki olive pulp
Chemistry
Activity across 8 antioxidant assays
Cells
Only the whole olive raised glutathione and reduced lipid peroxidation. Hydroxytyrosol + tyrosol alone could not.
Animals
Systemic and tissue antioxidant protection confirmed in animal trials
Proof that the bioactives complement each other, which few antioxidant ingredients can show.
Species
Korevion for broilers and other livestock species
Our in vivo evidence starts with broilers, so that is where Korevion launches. For other species, we are building the data with partners who want to be first.
